You downloaded a game? *gasp*

Regardless, I'll get this in quick....

it would seem that the .dvd file is wrong then.

The .dvd file, when opened in notepad, should look something like this:

LayerBreak=1913760
"exact_name_of_file".iso

In your case it probably should be:

LayerBreak=1913760
x360-cod.iso

Assuming that is the name of the iso.

Understand?

1. Get and install IMGburn
2. Manually set the layer break (only if it does not recognize the .DVD file)
tools-->settings-->write-->layer break. Check user specified and set it to 1913760. Click ok and burn as normal. This is only necessary the first time burning a 360 game

3. If it recognizes the .DVD file then burn that. If not then after setting the layer break move the .DVD file out of the game folder to your desktop. Now select the ISO file and burn it with IMGburn.

While this will work as well, I don't see the point as clonecd (as long as the .dvd file is correct) does this automatically.

That was what my post above was based on due to the fact that clonecd was mentioned in the op's post.

OP: you can't just burn the iso file without some setup on your part. It needs the layer break call. If you set imgburn manually for the layer break then burning the iso is fine. But, as long as the .dvd file is set up correctly it does it automatically from that file in clonecd.

Your choice.

Then there's the bitsetting. Hopefully your DL burner automatically sets your booktype to DVD_ROM.

could it be because he has a chip in it instead of flashing the fw? i thought the isos had to be changed to be compatable with chips, or is this not the case anymore?
