Mario Striker PAL 2.2E Firmware Update On A 3.1U Wii?

Hi,

I have a US 3.1U Wii, with a Wiikey installed.

Recently, I downloaded what I thought was Mario Strikers Charged NTSC US, but did some research, and found it was actually Mario Strikers Charged Football PAL with Region removed.

Unfortunately, I only found this out after I inserted the disc in my Wii, and the update finished.

I already had the latest 3.1U firmware on my machine, and I checked going into the settings, and it went in fine. Does that mean that even though the game indicated that an update was starting, and that it was successful, that it skipped the update because I had a higher number?

If not, do I need to wait for the 3.2U firmware inorder to ensure my system has the proper firmware state?

If you have the latest firmware, then you cant update anymore. Sometimes discs want you to update. But since you have the latest firmware just run the update in the disc, it wont affect you.
