hi,

iveread up on he nyko cooler systems and do i have this right...the old onesfry your machine?

are thenew ones any better?

how will i know if its a new one?

can you get them in black?

yeah there fine. Helped cool my 360 down alot. Never any problems. Just get the ne EX models. I got a black one on my 360 and looks o.k. Just go to a store like ebgames or bestbuy. most likely to have alot in stock for the holiday season.

Why would anyone buy this intercooler (no matter what version it is) after all the bad things it has done (especially after all the bad reviews and all the 360s it's f-ed up)??? Microsoft warns people not to use them because they melt and will cause your 360 to work harder and void your warranty. Anyone who uses this garbage is taking a HUGE risk. I know people with the new ones and they say it doesn't make it much cooler. But to each their own, I think it's crazy, but if someone wants to F their system up, go right ahead.

Yeah until you buy one you have no idea... i measured temp with and without intercooler and it decressed by almost 30 degrees. thats alot. thats enough to save your consule fromt teh RROD

I know dude it probably works, just pulling the power from the 360 sux man, will burn it out eventually. I wish it was like $5 more and had it's own AC power. I ask people at GameSpot about it (they sell the new EX intercoolers there) and they all say it's a bad device and totally Fs up your system over time, not worth it to me. But if you like it, best of luck!!
