Newb Problem - Memory Stick Stuck

Alright, I will probly get made fun of for this, but I have no idea about memory cards. I went and got a 2GB Memory Stick Pro Duo today and tried putting it in my PSP. I took it out of the box and stuck it in my PSP, and Im guessing I did it the wrong way or something and now its stuck in there and not working (PSP says there's no card). Id try putting it in the other way, but I cant get it out. So, uh, any suggestions? Im thinking about taking a screwdriver to my PSP and seeing if I can just remove the case and pull out the memory stick. But I dont wanna do that if I dont have to or it wont work.

Ive been doing research and should clairfy that Ive tried the obvious pushing in and then pulling, with no luck.

On another forum a guy had a similar problem and just pulled his card out with a pair of tweezers, so I may try that. Im kinda worried now that I got a fake memory stick.

One last thing, I tried opening up my PSP and still couldnt get at the MS.
