I am looking to mod my xbox and found a Xecuter 2.2 Lite mod chip for sale that was pre-flashed with Cromwell 1.8. My question is will that work for moding my xbox and adding a larger hard drive and EvoX and stuff like that or will I have to reflash it. I am still new to this so any info would be helpful

The BIOS is meant for Linux. You are going to have to flash it with a different BIOS.

how difficult is it to flash the chip and how easy is it get the program that Im going to need.

Flashing the chip is as easy as burning a CD-RW with the right files and finding the files can be quite easy if your read a little bit around here... even in the first page of the forum!
