My brother was doing the softmod method his ps2 slim (tape down switch and tissue method) it worked for a bit although it was very picky about playing copy games using swapmagic (when they worked fine on mine) it would take much much longer to load copies but would play normal games just fine.

But then it stopped reading copies all together so he retaped the switch but pressed too hard and the switch went inside the box. He managed to get the switch out, but everytime the switch kepts pressed slighty (by the hinge) it gets stuck inside again. Now discs wont spin at all!

Anyone know a way to fix this? I'll provide pics if i dont make any sense lol :P
Also, anyone know a fix for why it was taken much longer to load on his? It cant be a laser problem if regular games boot up fine.
