Hey i've just red the discussion about Wiikey and there is some compering with the Wiid.

Now my question:

I should buy the wiikey, so i can make up out of the disscussion between wiikey and Wiid :P

But with the wiiD you can turn the chip on and off isnt that important??

And there also seems something about the Wiid that Nintendo cant udate through a game or so?

So i should buy the wikey, right??? I/m just a bit confused... :P

considering the majority of people in here who DID have wiid chips have pulled them out, and bought WIIKEY i think that sort of answers your question
wiid were non existant in their updates
wiikey were slow but came through


is your wii compatable with wiikey or will it need the d2ckey?

Don't the Wiid team make the cyclowiz as well and have moved everyone over to the cyclowiz so the Wiid will not get anymore updates and many of them are sore about this so have moved over to the WiiKey, I think the question you should be asking is WiiKey, cyclowiz or Wiinja Delux.

Well i have a D2B with probably cut pinns
so i hope the wiikey will not be that much of a problem...

if you have a D2B with cut pins then yes you do have a problem. You will have to use a dremel or rotary tool to grind away a small portion of the IC chip on the DVD drive to expose the pins. If you have an old console laying around i suggest practicing on those. Grind away a small portion of the edge of a chip to expose the metal legs. then see if the console still works. Now if the pins are not cut you should be fine.
