what kind of discs needed to burn xbox 360 games?

what kind of discs are needed to burn them up until the other day i thought u could only get dual layered so i went and bought some they had verbatim dl 2.4 written on them and now ive noticed u can get double layer ones too does that matter? i hope not because i ordered some not realizing it, any info would be appreciated cheers!

Dl stands for dual layer and yes you need dual layer DVD+R discs.
verbatims are best..search for more info

excuse me the person that hacked my xbox showed me link FOR double layer discs thx very much for some not very useful info.... i love this website its brill i didnt expect some asshat posts i looked and looked i wanted some pure proof that they didnt work and you guys failed me thinking i was a noob, im no noob jusrt want to lrn better this is why i use this website like a god :) just voicing my opinion.

They weren't being jerks.. you are supposed to search around before asking questions.. but anyways Dual Layer = Double Layer (Dual = 2, double = 2).
Now he said search for more info, after answering.. meaning he didnt feel like typing up whats been posted in about 1000 threads already.

Hi ganjaman, i use Verbatim DVD+R DL to make flawless backups my 360 games.. Like most of the guys here just mentioned, they are the best brand you can buy without a doubt. The only negative is the price of a 15 pack at Bestbuy, it's around 35 bucks if i'm not mistakened, i happened to search the internet for a better price but the price was still the same if you include shipping. Sorry you had to go through alot of BS to get your question answered, the moderators don't put up with all that garbage on AD as you can see.
