IRshell 3.7 Nethost problem

well the title really explains it all. My problem is that whenever I put the Nethost/UMD compatibility on Maximum and try to toggle nethost on My psp it just causes a hard reset. Ive looked on google about this and many said that you need to enable the IRshell autoboot plugin. I have done that but the problem persists. And im a little scared to update to 3.8 since ive heard about how people have bricked their psps by not installing IRshell right. And a little more info--- I have a psp slim with 3.71 m33-3,Nethost is version 1.7, Im using WEP enabled connection. BTW the nethost works fine when in normal but most of my CSOs run really slow even if im right next to my router.
