hey everybody. I have some questions that I need to ask. First of, I tried looking for the answer but couldn't find it so either I miss it big time or just didn't find it. Anyway my firmware is 2.71, have psp devhook ver.046 and launcher mod vers. 1.35. My questions are:
1. Is this the latest firmware and whatnot in my psp or is there some updates for it?
2. How do I go about it?
3. I have these 3 folders(escape2xx,%__SCE__DH_MOD, and __SCE__DH_MOD)and don't even see the M33CREATOR and those other folders. What do they mean and what can I do with them?

1.- Latest Custom Firmware is 3.71m33-4, original firmware is 3.73 or 3.81 I dont remember.
2.- check the link http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/569423 pretty much all you need to do is upgrade to 2.80 and then downgrade with software to download with 1.50
3.- They will not work unless you have a Custom Firwmare or Official Firmware 1.50
PSP (+[__]%): 2.80 < 1.50 > 3.40OE-A > 3.71M33-4 > 3.80m33-5 > 3.90m33-3 > 4.01m33-2 + 8gb MSPD
PS3 HD 60GB: 1.33 > 1.90 > 2.01 > 2.17 - NO OS

actually, I have another problem. I downgrade it to 1.50 then upgrade to 3.52m33 alright. However, when I want to update to 3.52m33-4, it say game is corrupted. My kernel is 3.52 so I'm clueless on what is happening. Can you help me?

I will give you my best advise, take it, I have used it TOUSAND of times... go to dark-alex.org, create pandora battery V3 and downgrade/upgrade your PSP from 3.52 m33 directly to 3.71m33-2

oh ok but just out of curiosity, why is it doing this? Is it because it semi-brick or corrupted somehow?

I dunt know, maybe you did it wrong, but believe me, you want to avoid problems, just use the pandora, I did manual upgrade 4 times, its a DOOP! Using pandora gives the same result, you already have a custom firmware, you can return your battry back to normal after you have downgraded, its easy, painless and only takes 5 minutes to downgrade. yea thanx and you was right, it went to 3.71 flawlessly so it all good. now i do have a question again. in my MS, what folder should be in there because all i have is the ISO and that it.

format your memory stick and all folders needed would be automatically created.
