I finally bought my PSP!!!

Anyway, it was the Daxter combo pack with game, umd movie and 1 gig Pro duo card.

It is running firmware 3.60. I wanna downgrade and install firmware 3.71 M33-3 or M33-4.

I was looking through the guides and saw most of them went up to 3.50.

Questions:

1) Is 3.60 downgradeable yet? If so how?

Thanks in advacne to the replies guys. I can't wait to play roms on the go lol!

1) yes! i used a Datel Tool Battery and a Magic Memory Stick V3.

srsly tho, "playing roms on the go" is highly overrated.

/jokes.

Lol sorry. Tried to make a joke......?

I meant to downgrade with my current firmware without buying anything extra with the exception of probably Lumines if I have to....?

I currently do not have access to another PSP running firmware so I ask:

Is there a way to create a Pandora's Battery and Mem Stick on a PSP Slim with just 3.60 firmware?

u can only do it by hard modding ur battery whick is basically soldering. but u need an older fat psp battery i think cause im not sure if u can do it with a slim psp battery. but either way ur gonna need to buy an extra battery unless ur really good at soldering and can make a switch to connect the pin to ur battery which u r cutting and to disconnect it when u wanna use it as a pandora battery.

So in other words.... I have to either:

A) Wait for an exploit that would make the PSP slim independent of the PSP original...

or

B) Solder a battery...

Well thanks anyways for the replies guys!

Much appreciated!!

First of all you cannot downgrade a SLIM to 1.50
But you can upgrade directly to 3.71 M33 - 3
Using Pandora's Battery + MS with Universal Unbricker v3...

HERE is a guide that shows you how to do this by using an easy installer on your offical SLIM PSP to make the Magic Memory Stick (Universal Unbricker v3) and either buying a Datel Tool Battery or Hardmodding the SLIM Battery.

Thanks for the replies guys. I got it done! Now my PSP is running 3.71 M33-2. I wanna

1) Get the best tool/application to convert ISOs to CSOs. (Currently using PSP ISO convertor 1.4 by kDanny. )

2) Get the best tool/application to convert PSX games to PSP eboots/CSOs.

3) Learn how to upgrade (if necessary) to 3.71 M33-4.

Currently playing Logan's Shadow, Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Tag force 1 & 2!!!!

1. PSP ISO Compressor works just fineas every other compressors..

2. You could use PSX2PSP GUI or AutoPOPStaion 4...

3. Link in the sig... ( How to upgrade from 3.52 M33-4 to 3.71 M33-4) You shuold see how to put the upgrade to your firmware.

I'm not quite sure ....
Cause I'm not using PSX2PSP I am using AutoPOPStation 4 so I don't know how to change the icon and background .... Try downloading PSX Icon Packs...
