I believe the Dec. 10th update bricked my wii and bricked the wiikey website. I have tried and tried to play my backups and the wii will reject them. "unable to read disc" I have also tried to use the recovery disc(1.9b) but it still doesnt work. I put the rd in and pressed reset, allowed it to run on the wii menu for 3-5 mins powered down and turned back on and still same result.

Im pretty sure the solder points are good because I just played my backups lastweekend with no problems.

What was this update? Did you update online? Did you receive a message about the update in the mail box?

Do you use a US, PAl, or JAP system?

Sorry for all the questions, just trying to figure out what is going on.

I dont know when the update was, I dont turn my wii completly off I normally keep it on standy so I will assume it updates itself. I updated SMG a week or so ago but I used my backups after that with no flaw. Yesterday was the 1st day I played my wii in the past few days, when I turned it on I couldnt read the disc. I modded a friend of mines wii yesterday so I know the 1.9g works before the update
