Hardware/Software/Media PS2 DVD game backups.

Hi

Could someone please answer or advise re the following:-

1. Which DVD Burner would be best for burning backups for PS2 games. I have a Plextor CD Writer and Plextor CD Reader and have never had a spot of bother with either.I was therefor considering Plextor's new DVD writer. Any comments/suggestions.

2. Which is the best software for ripping/burning the above. I would also like to do a few movies I have.

3. Which would be the best media for PS2 DVD backups. Does it have to be DVD-r or +r for PS2. For the movies my DVD player plays all formats.
I have also read that a Playstation 2 can read DVDRW's is this correct?

I live in the UK and my PS2's are chipped one with a Messiah the other with a DMS3.

A lot I know but any info would be welcome.
