I have just purchsed a Digivox from ebay. But it must be faulty, when I turn it on the display on the box syas "CHDL" is my box faulty? If so can it be fixed? Please help.

is the digivox loaded with firware,as boxes can be blank from factory,did u get cd in box?,ask the sellar is it loaded with firmware?press system info ok and see what vers. on box if loaded

We cant get into the system. It wont let us do anything. The remote doesnt do anything. We cant get to any menus. We didnt get a cd with it.The seller said it was loaded with the latest firmware.

even when i get boxes with no firmware u need to have box on to flash [update them] did u try switching on and off a few times to reboot?

Go to Eamo's Library at the bottom of my post

Download the Software in the Digivox Folder to your PC (downloader10.exe)

Download the Firmware in the Digivox Folder to your PC (digivox_z20070101N2_v2800_2api.bin)

Turn off PC.
Connect PC to Digivox via the serial port using an NULL MODEM CABLE cable.
Turn on Digivox & then turn on PC.
Open loader software ?DOWNLOADER 10?
Browse for bin file
Check ?app file? (default).
Click ?download?
A progress bar will appear. Wait for ?download complete ? window to pop-up
Turn off Digivox and PC then disconnect.

Connect back to TV

After you start the download you have to power the box off & on again to start the transfer.
