Hi. Recently my PS2 lens stopped working so I bought a new lens, but one of it's circuit was soldered, so it didnt work when i installed it. Does anyone know of a guide on how to unsolder it or how to fix the lens?

I have a v12 and the lens just stopped working when a game was loading.

EDIT: Ok. After searching a bit i found out that that solder is called anti-static point. So any idea how to remove it?

You can remove the solder use a desoldering wick, or one of those solder suckers, if you use the wick, you place it over the soldered point, and heat the wick with a soldering iron, or you can use the sucker, and heat the solder, and while its molten use the sucker to get rid of it.

Sounds like the place you got the laser from should of told you about the antistatic bridge.

Just like lilg said, just use a solder sucker after heating it up with the iron. Just be careful not to leave the iron on the solder too long and damage the laser. Good luck,
