I just installed Wiikey and tried a original game it works fine but when I try the Wiikey Setup Disc or the Wiikey Update disc it doesnt get recongnized. Im using Sony DVD-R and burned using Imgburn 3x. i also installed it on a D2B without cut legs. If anyone has some information I would appreciate it thanks.

which install method did you use. Did you connect all the points to the chip to the board including the leg of the chip.
Try this disc for the setup. it is all set to use GCOS but you need a GC controller. Just burn it with whatever. If that works then then you must of burned something wrong. I just installed mine today and it works no problem.

@Kajin
I changed the pics to links instead. They were throwing off the and for dial up users the page would take forever to load.

Mate, the soldering on that chip is pretty bad. It looks like you have solder smudged all over the board, unless its just the way it looks in the picture.

I would guess you have some kind of bridging going on.

Thanks for the picture. It helps a lot. I wanted to know if I was doing the soldering the right way in the picture I posted above it said point 3 was missing on all D2B boards but I had it. I have a D2B board and just want to make sure im doing it the right way.
