Ive bought a PSP 2000 3 weeks ago and have been trying to figure out how to make it play ISO and CSO

I came across the newbi easy installer and learned that it upgrades the firmware to 3.71 M33.

Does the newbi easy installer patch the battery or do i have to have the memory stick in PSP to be able to use a PSP with a firmware 3.71 M33??

help me please I am new to this stuff.noboby has a concrete guide how to crack that new PSP2000 with original firmware.

HERE is a guide that shows you how to install custom firmware by using your official PSP SLIM.

This will install 3.71 M33-2 custom firmware onto your SLIM PSP.

You will either have to buy a Datel Tool Battery or Hardmod the Battery. Go to the link for more information.

ok i get it, it creates the magic memory stick and i need the hardmodded battery to be able to install it then.

what's the next step after modding the battery and creating the magic MS???

is it ok to run ISO and CSO games off my MS after tht?

You need to Hardmod the Battery or buy a Datel Tool battery which I recommend to get the PSP into service mode. This lets the PSP access the Magic memory Stick to install the custom firmware to the PSP.

After you get the custom firmware on the PSP all you need to do is undo the Hardmod and format the Memory Stick to get them back to normal.

so after that if i copy an ISO game on the MS,would i be able to just load it as a UMD?

After you format the Memory Stick some directories will be made on it which 1 of them is an ISO folder.

All you do is drag the ISO/CSO into the ISO folder and then play the game from Game Menu Memory Stick.

After you have put custom firmware on the PSP and formated the memory Stick and get the ISO/CSO in the ISO folder go HERE and follow the steps to get them to work properly.

I would recommend going to a custom firmware which would be easy for you since your already at 1.50 official firmware.

It is possible to play some of the ISO games with 1.50 using DevHook but this is an outdated method and the games you could play would be limited.

Go HERE to update to 3.52 M33-4. All you would need to do is place the ISO in the ISO folder and launch the game via Game Menu memory Stick.

If you want the latest M33 custom firmware then go HERE to install 3.71 M33-4 custom firmware (you must first update to 3.52 M33-4 before up[dating to this.).

I already have 3.71 m33-3 on my psp, but I just wanted to know if its possible to play isoos on 1.5.Thx for the links and guides

It is possible if you use DevHook but custom firmware is the more updated and all around better solution.
