Is there any way of making a PSP slim play ISO and CSO without having to mod the a battery or using a pandora battery??

Nope you need some type of Pandora battery (Hardmodded/Softmodded/Datel Tool battery to put custom firmware onto the PSP.

Doesn't matter what firmware is on it. All SLIM's require a Magic Memory Stick and some type of Service Battery to install custom firmware to it.

The only way to play ISO/CSO games on a PSP SLIM is with custom firmware.

larrylje is right you need CFW to play ISO/CSO to do that you need pandora doesn't matter what kind just pandora with MS and Universal Unbricker v3...
