Just got my Wii chipped.
Erm... then I read what's involved in making backups!
I don't fancy doing a loooong download of backup games!
I'd rather just pay a small amount and get someone to post me a backup.

I've searched on eBay and Amazon: I can't find anyone selling Wii backups. ;)
Lol.

So: is there anywhere where I can simply buy backups??

it depends on the circumstances.

mr a has wii sports.
mr b has wii sports.
mr b gives mr a wii sports backup.
not illegal i would strongly argue.
please do feel to contradict if u think i am wrong.
i say this without knowing for sure: it just makes sense to me.

Dude spend the $20 bucks on the LG dvd Drive download Rawdump2.0 for free and backup all the games you want... Why the hell would anyone pay for a backup. Is society that lazy? If you read the copyright laws especially on dvd's it is illegal to even have a backup without even having a money gain. But whatever I have tons of backups of my cd's movies and games. Good luck and the drives are on newegg.com

no, you are wrong. making copies of copyrighted material is illegal whether you own it or not. havent you ever read the FBI warning on a dvd.

Sorry m8 but making backups is illegal, if it was legal i wouldnt have said anything it doesnt matter who has originals etcetc no one in their right mind would sell them, buy an lg drive and make your own (still illegal) or download the backup copy of the game you already own ( even more illegal) then you could alwasy find a carboot sale and buy of an unscrupulous dealer.

p.s personally i think you should be able to make a copy of the software you have purchased no matter what it is just to keep the original mark free but obviously if we all had pristine originals then software companies wouldnt make extra money out of us ordering a new copy because the flimsy easily destroyed media they supply products on is destroyed far too easy.

As the others have said back up games are illegal. Anyone dumb enuf to do it and sell them well I guess they're willing to pay the consequences if caught.
And you too OM2 buying them would be just as illegal especially if you didn't buy the original.
