perhaps this is a stupid question but i'm considering getting an XBOX 360 and having it modded similarly to my original XBOX. Lets say I bought an X360 USB unit from team executer, got a properly flashed hard drive (with what software, i don't know) and transfered ripped 360 games from my PC hard drive so I could play them off of the flashed hard drive that is connected by said USB device on the XBOX 360. Is this possible in any form or variation?

i don't believe so. you can't play 360 games off a HD like on the original xbox. you have to burn them to DVD+R DLs and play then through a flashed dvd-drive.

This thread was written a while ago, I was wondering if this has been perfected yet?

That first post is soooooooooo off base. Anyone who has an original modded Xbox and thinks that they are going to mod their 360 and get one tenth of the things they could do with their original Xbox needs to do a lot of research.

Just for anyone who reads this and gets some pipe dreams. Right now modding your 360 will give you ONE THING, playing back ups. Now later down the line they may find Linux exploits and the ability to use regular hard drives easily and so on. But it has not happened so far.
