Yep, got it too. I'm currently downloading it.
One of the funniest things I read about it was even though there's no in-game xmb access, divx = porn, porn = good. lol Not that I have any porn, right?
It was in one of the links provided here about this update.
Latest AnyDVD to rip > VOBB to blank the unwanted on a DVD > Shrink to compress > ImgBurn to burn = Never starting a thread asking how to backup a movie

yeah im currently d/l it too. quick question, so will the divx files i stream on the ps3 (throuhg tversity) be of better quality?

I just installed the update about an hour ago. I tried out the Voice Changer thing and it's hilarious! That's sweet, we barely have to convert any kinds of videos for PS3!

Yes, this is certainly sweet.
Unfortunately MKV files are still not supported. Does anyone know any way to get MKV files to play back, apart from reconverting the entire video via PS3 video 9, such as a container converter, etc?

Goodbye Xbox 360 Divx!!!
I was using the Divx support on the Xbox 360 (streaming from my PC), but then this came out, and I decided to try some of the videos that didn't work with the 360 and they work GREAT!!! I'm loving the Divx support on the PS3!!! WAY better then the 360 support!
Has anyone had problems with the Divx? I don't know if it's the end of the video or what, but when I play a video, it seems to Pause (when I think it's over) and you can't go forward, or play or anything, just stop! I dunno, maybe it's the end of the video!
Anyways... The PS3 Divx is AWESOME!!!

so is there a way to download this off of my computer and put it on my psp memstick? then just put my memstick in the PS3?
would i get it off of playstation.com?
anyway, if i put a high definition .avi file on my hardrive, will it display in high def on my TV? (it does on my computer)
btw, i have a highdef tv. lol :P
so dont think i mean a SD tv. haha.
