Hi all, need help with my PSP. When I played an ISO/CSO games, I would normally off the console without exit to home screen. Usually,when I on back my console,it will show where I previously stopped played. But recently, when I off my console and on it back,the green light will on and then off. I have to switch it on back again and it will show the boot up screen, "Sony Entertainment" which means reset back to home. For that,if I did not save any games,I would have to restart all over again. Please advice.

you shouldnt turn it off while the iso is on you should go to home and then turn it off. That could corrupt your data. Also putting it in standby while the iso is on is real bad to.

What firmware do you have..?

And also when did you start to notice this...what did you start doing differently?

@Vegeta420

why do you say that "putting it in standby while the iso is on is real bad to" (Vegeta420).

I'm using 3.71 M33-2. Normally, I turn off, and when turn it on again, it will start where I left it.

You are just putting it on standby mode or sleep.

You turn it off all the way by holding the ON/OFF button for a several seconds.

You aren't actually turning it off...what you are doing is puting it to standby or sleep mode as said by Rogdrik what you have to do is press and holding it up for 5-10 seconds until the LED power stops blinking...
When you press it up and release it before the LED powerstops blinking that is puting it to sleep mode...
:)

Thanks for giving me suggestion guys. 2 weeks ago, I had tried to power on my console. The green light will on for 2 secs, then off. Whenever I see this happen,I should have know,it will reboot back to the boot up screen. And when I tried to switch it on again, "Kazzam!" it reboot, and the game that I have not save will have to start all over again. Haiz..

But after I tried what you guys suggested, the problem seems to be almost sloved, but only 2/10 times the situation be the same as i mentioned above.

So is there any alternative way to eliminate this issue? Or any of you guys occur this problem before? Thanks.

Maybe you are in standby mode then you pressed up your power switch for 5-10 secs so this will cause it too turn off completely so when you turn it back on your game isn't there..... try pressing the power switch up for about 1 second just try and flick it...
(JUST A SUGGESTION I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM LIKE THIS IN MY PSP LIFE....)
:)
