I have 3.51 and want a custom firmware but people say I need pandora's battery to downgrade for a cfw. Why do people have 3.51 m33 and can play homebrew's how would I get that? would I have to downgrade.

yes you will need pandora to downgrade your psp to 1.50 so that you can install custom firmware

And in order to create a pandora you need to have a CFW PSP or a FW 1.50 already to create it...
