So I recently installed Leopard onto my mac, and since doing so, none of my backups I've burned in disk utilities have worked for me... I'd like to just assume they've all been faulty files, but I was just curious if anyone else has been facing the same problems as myself, should I downgrade my software?
I also have had no luck with the Leopard OS,I tried to burn with Disk Utility and also with the Toast software, both unsucsessfuly. I have finaly broken down and installed windows XP on my mac(that alone makes me want to kick my own a**). I havnt tried to burn any backups but all the configs and updates worked when burned with IMGburn. Dont downgrade though, they will fix all the kinks with some updates soon. Leopard blows Windows out of the water. Time machine alone is reason enough to swith OS's. I have said this before and will say it again. "Using windows is like being a headless chicken...sooo un-productive." Just as soon as the mass population realizes the potential that macs have there will be much better software and tools to accomplish anything a windows machine can. The only reason I have installed windows is for my mega-squirt ECU(engine management). Just so happens that it works better for Wii backup burning aswell. Just wait though the software will be available soon.
haha don't worry, I'm not going to run out and buy a PC, my Wii is Japanese so I've already been running the Brick Blocker via an alternate computer a friend has (who doesn't have a mac) but in the long run I'm not worried, I just burned like 10 disks yesterday, trying to burn 3 different files, and I wanted to know what might be wrong,
thanks though, I've been trying to google any kind of info I can, and been coming up with nothing :)
Yeah I had the same problem there is some pretty good mac software on this site. the best place to find software is versiontracker.com or the apple website there is a ton of stuff on both of those.
