Can anyone explain why when i try to play this on a 3.1J machine it wants to do an update?

Thought BBA was 2.2?

Am i safe to install the update - am assuming it will just give me duplicate channels but to afraid of bricking to try it!

Also, how did i get to 3.1J - updated my semibricked wii with SMG J - thought this was 3.0J? confused!

if ur upto date with wii updates the disc will ask to update, go through the motions then realise u dont need to update after all

Actually - just thought.....

Will big Brain US work on a JAP wii? the GBA temp list says not but it doesnt say yes or no for 3.1J wii?

Anyone tried it?

What is the reason that some games dont work?
