NTSC brick?

From what I've heard your Wii can only brick if you try to play out of regions games. Im a little worried can NTSC games brick my Wii. Also I've heard Battalion Wars 2 asks to update your Wii. If I update will I get screwed?

If you play in your region you will NEVER get bricked.

Yes what wiichess said. You will not get bricked as long as your wii is the same region of the game.
Examples:

NTSC Wii/NTSC Game = Not Bricked

JAP Wii/JAP Game = Not Bricked

PAL Wii/PAL Game= Not Bricked

It is possible to play games from different regions and not getting brick by using RegionBlocker but no guarantees. Better to just play the games from your region.

I was a little scared at the start.

Damn Nintendo and their tri wing screws.

Bought my chip was ready to open up my Wii, and there they were. I ordered a screw driver, and now my anticipation is getting a little too high.

The Wii Key is tiny. I wasnt expecting it to be the size of a penny!

if u ensure your wii is upto date through the internet prior to trying a new different region game then there will also be no brick
