I follow the steps, and when I drag music into the folder it begins to copy there, then it shuts down the PSP folder, and my PSP reads "Please Wait" for a long while. Finally when I do exit out of this "Please Wait" screen and attempt to play the song that is on my PSP it only has half the song at most, once it gets to a certain point it reads "Corrupt Data" and stops. HOW do I get this thing to work?

The memory stick is a 1 GB, I bought it at gamestop and it still has roughly 900 MB left open. I have two, 2 GB sticks I'm gonna attempt to transfer the music onto though.

well if you copied them to your ms0:/psp/music/ folder and they dont load this may be a new 3.80 bug

Well, the system was set to 3.6 yesterday, it didn't work then either. I updated to 3.8 hoping that would fix the problem.

They are named with a # and a name, such as 10 Believe, should i remove the #'s? and if custom firmware would get it working I'll use it, any suggestions?

you might try removing the numbers from one or two and try loading them but yes custom firmware could help alot apps like irshell or a media player may recoginze the songs but if you choose to down grade then use the universal unbricker guide at the top of this forum with 3.80 firmware you must use a pandoras battery to downgrade to 3.71m33-2
