I want to mod my PS2 and just wanted to get some questions answered before I do so. (People at the actual PS2 modding Forum are to stuck up).

Im going to follow these directions here click here.

I understand everything in the directions but have "general use" questions. After the mod is done, from my understanding, the mod is actually on the memory card. Every time the PS2 is turned on, it boots the .elf from the memory card, to the dashboard. So....will removing the memory card allow the PS2 to boot just like a regular non modded PS2?

Should I have two Memory cards. One for the mod and elf's. And the other for Game saves.

Should I use a USB jump drive instead of a memory card for game saves (if its possible)

What happens everytime you turn the PS2 on? Will I have to have to have a Game in the drive? Or will it boot automatically from the memory card.

You only have to remove the disc you use to run the exploit off ofthe memory card in order for the ps2 to boot normally, you can then play any game you like as you normally would, It would be easier to manage if you had one memory card for homebrews and one for saves. Not possible to save games on a usb flash drive atm.
