Hi Guys...
I just recently told my friend about CFW and homebrew and he was interested so he asked me to put M33 on his PSP.
I tried to do larrylje's Universal Unbricker Guide like I did on my PSP a while back.
It installed 3.71M33 and I pressed X after the update to switch off the PSP.
When I turned it back on, before it completely loaded, it froze completely and after a minute turned itself off.
I tried the Universal Unbricker again but the same thing still happened.
So then I tried to Pandora his PSP down to 1.50FW and it worked. But now when he's playing a back-up or using homebrew, his PSP will just switch off by itself. I feel really bad that his PSP is messing about because it was a birthday present from his girlfriend and I really hope I haven't ruined it.
Can someone help me as to what I can do to fix his PSP?
Thanks in advance...

Ok, update it back to 3.71 M33 first of all. Turn it off once done and then turn back on holding the R trigger...Make sure you're holding it.! Then you will be in recovery mode. Go to Configuration (highlight and press X) and then select Format flash1 and reset all settings (Highlight and press X once again). Now your psp should turn on without freezing.

Did you use his Battery as the Pandora battery?

If so how did you recover his battery to normal?

Did you backup the Battery EEPROM then flash it back?

Or did you skip that part and use the generate serial to recover his battery back to normal?

If you did the later you could have screwed up his battery.
