max media manager pro does not see psp

I have installed max media manager pro on my windows xp pro comp w/ sp2. i plugged in my psp slim and it does not see it. i tried going to options and directing it to the right drive and it didnt see it. I tried disabling usb charge and it still doesn't work. what am i doing wrong?

this may not have anything to do with it, but maybe it isn't compatible with the psp slim. That was a very old tool used for PSP and maybe needs to get upgreded. I may be wrong though.

Well that would explain it. but there are upgrades of the software yet it still doesnt work.

Well they didn't have PSP Slim back then so I imagine that's why it won't work :P

Actually it was just updated Dec 2007.

Get the update by using the "options"->"check for updates" button.

If you're PSP still isn't detected, use the options "my psp is on drive x" option.
