I should be able to use any 360 to power the drive during flashing if I have my orig.bin right?

Yes. You are only using the 360 for power.
You can flash any 360 drive in any 360 as long as it goes back into the original 360 that that drive came from. As I said above, The 360 is only used to power the drive during flashing.
