Hey everyone, I havent posted here in ummm, over a year.

To the question!

Ive recently bought a new lappy and it came with this wonderful tv tuner card that I can plug-in and well.. watch tv. It also came with a componet cable input (Red Yellow White) I believe are the colors, and ive been trying to plug my Xbox 360 into it directly and play it through windows media center.

Ive tried every possible way to configure media center to use the input but it seems that media center wasnt really built for this purpose.

Does anyone know how to configure Media Center so I can play the 360 on my laptop? Or can you suggest any software that I might be able to try, media center hates me and im starting to hate it.

not sure about your media center, but when i start my laptop media center pops up a message that says "A new xbox 360 has been detected. Double Click here to connect to this computer" and the icon is a white "!" sign in my taskbar.

I am pretty sure media center was made to handle a 360, mine doesn,t even have a tuner card.

Hum, I appologize. I dont think I was descriptive enough on my original post.

Im not plugging the 360 into my computer through the USB, im trying to use my laptop screen as a display for the 360. So i am plugging the video out from the xbox into the video in on my tv tuner card.

Media Player is taunting me! Helps!

What happens when you launch the tv tuner software while the 360 is connected,my think'n is you need that launched to view,i have'nt got around to trying out the tv card like that as yet so i'm only guessing
