I'm not sure but I think...
Yes... All you have to do is power your PSP using the AC Adapter(Charger...) then put the battery in so it won't go to service mode since the PSP is already on... so it will charge instead...

But I'm not sure..

yes, you can 100% charge a pandora battery by plugging in the AC in the PSP, then introducing the Service battery. Then the power light should turn to orange.

I don't know if anyone's mentioned it or not, but the Datel Tool Battery (that red hunk of worthless plastic) *does not* work to downgrade or pandora your PSP. I believe the creators of Pandora's Battery had an article on that where they tested it and found the tool battery to be a real fraud. Google it, it's horrible. They advertise it can boot the PSP into service mode, but it won't get you any closer to playing your back ups or unlocking other nice M33 (or other OE/CE) features.

correct 404errord you need a magic memory stick to go with the battery, you cant sell it because it uses sonys copywritten firmwares so you have to make it your self(it is very easy to make with the guides in the forum) otherwise yes the datel tool is worthless

WAIT! WAIT! WAIT!

Why in the world would you buy a Datel Tool battery or Hardmod the battery when you already have a PSP FAT with 3.71 M33 on it?

Just convert the FAT Battery to a Pandora Battery using the custom firmware FAT and use it in your PSP SLIM.

There is no need to waist your money on a Datel Tool Battery (Which works perfectly fine as a service mode battery) or take the chance of screwing your Battery up trying to Hardmod it.

Go HERE and follow this guide which will walk you through the steps of making a Magic memory Stick + convert your FAT battery to a Pandora Battery to install custom firmware 3.71 M33-2 to your SLIM PSP. This is more safe and easier to recover the battery to normal if you want to use it as a normal battery again.

I've read it and from what I make you can use the battery again but not the memory stick. Is this correct?

It says:

"You now have 3 options after doing the unbrick/upgrade

1) Keep the Pandora battery and Magic memory Stick as is.

2) Convert the Pandora Battery back to normal?"

So it says you can convert the battery back but not the memory stick.

Just format the memory stick via Stsem Settings and it will be normal again for PSP use.

Just need to make sure of a couple of things before installing the cfw.

1) I have two psp's (one fat with cfw and one slim with official sony 3.71) but one memory stick is this enough to install the custom firmware?

2) Will the battery be exactly the same as it was before?

Thanks for the help :)

Yes you only need 1 Memory Stick for the Magic memory Stick and if you back up your FAT Battery eeprom you can then convert the battery back to normal.

I tell you it is getting to be such a pain answering the same questions over and over again. If you would go to the guide that has been posted all of this is clearly covered.

No bumping - plus you hijacked abcc's thread.
