This post is to make sure the method I want to use will work (and not brick my new psp). I did my research and want to make sure its legit and will work from the guys who know.

First off, this is a present for me that is still under my tree and I do not know the firmware (Daxter silver slim bundle) Grin.
However, with this method that I am going to use it should not matter (I hope).

So, I am going to buy a Tool or pre-made Pandora's Battery off ebay or wherever.

Then I am going to use the 1gig Pro Duo memory stick that comes in the bundle for my Magic Memory Stick.
I will be using the TotalNewbieInstaller to do this without having a CFW Fat psp around.
Can I use a digital cameras card reader for this? Even better will the TotalNewbInstaller work with the PSP OFW? (This is the part I am concerned about).

So assuming the above worked, I now have a Pandora's battery and magic memory stick. At this point I can just follow the normal guides.

Will this all work? Again, I don't have a FAT CFW around and already have a 1gig memory stick (Pro Duo came with bundle) so I am looking to downgrade my slim from just buying a extra battery.

yes, it work fine, it can downgrade OFW. U can use a any card reader. All u need is the old battery. Dont get the new pandora proof one. Try to get the Datel one.

P.S. Not very in Christmas spirit when u know present
