I folled the instructions in the GUIDE FOR INSTALLING 3.52M33-4 THEN 3.71M33-4 and now when I goto my games folder it shows like 200 corrupt data files, also my music and photos show up as corrupt data, I made sure hide currupt data is off on the recovery menu and it still shows up. i put my iso files in the iso folder and homebrews in the games folder. any ideal what is wrong? games load fine, they are at bottom of corrupt files. some dont (new ones) but Im guessing thats casue they ned data off a umd, and I dont have one in. thanks

Did you install the 1.50 kernel plugin?

Have you tried formatting your mem stick and reloading the files back on?

if next to magicgate says Supported it's real ,if it says Unknown it's fake

Sounds like a bad firmware install.

I would download this RECOVERY folder HERE. This will recover the PSP back to 1.50 firmware.

Go into recovery menu (Turn off PSP then hold down R-Trigger while turning the PSP back on). Now toggle the USB to connect the PSP to PC via USB. Download and extarct the file above and drag the RECOVERY folder to the /PSP/GAME folder. Now disable the USB connection and go to "RUN PROGRAM AT /PSP/GAME/RECOVERY/EBOOT.PBP".

Now either use a Pandora Battery + Magic Memory Stick to get back to 3.71 M33-4 or do it manually.

Go HERE to update to 3.71 M33 with a Pandora Battery + Magic Memory Stick using an easy installer. Instead of buying a Datel Tool battery or Hardmoding the battery just use the Pandora Creator to backup your battery eeprom and then convert the battery to a Pandora Battery.

Once you have done this place the Magic Memory Stick into the PSP then place the Pandora Battery into it. The menu should come up letting you install to 3.71 M33 custom firmware.

After you have used the Pandora Battery + Magic Memory Stick take the Battery out. Mow plug your PSP in via AC Adapter and turn on the PSP(without the battery).

After the PSP boots up place the battery into the PSP and start the Pandora Creator application again. This time choose to recover your battery using the eeprom backup. After you do this turn off the PSP unplug it and take the battery out.

Now reinsert the battery and you are finished and should have 3.71 M33-2 custom firmware on the PSP. Go HERE to download and install the 3.71 m33-4 update.

If you want to do it manually again then go HERE after recovering to 1.50 to go to 3.52 M33-4.

Then go HERE to install 3.71 M33-4 (3.52 M33-4 must be installed first before installing this firmware).
