just flashed samsung DVD - wont read discs

I have just flashed the DVD on my XBOX 360 with latest 1.4 firmware. Everything went OK.

Unfortunately my XBOX 360 will now not recognise original games. It keeps coming up with insert game into a XBOX 360. The XBOX 360 plays normal DVDs (movies) fine.

Can anyone help?

are you setting the layer break and book type when you burn? try using xbox backup creator, it does it all for you

Just by the off chance did u flash you samsung without puttin the DVD key in

If you did then your SOL u neeed your DVD key

I thought that I could have flashed with an all FF as the key. I have check the original dump and the key is in there.

To reflash the firmware do I need to bypass firmguard or do I just run the 'fsam 1234567 12345' command. Do I also have to erase the existing firmware or can I flash straight over the top

You can flash directly over. Also all FFFFs is bad, because that mean the DVD is not in there.

i have that problem to its..put in original and it says that white screen then reboot system and game should work..does ur back-ups work?
