I need to know can a slim psp out of the box be modded to use CFW without a FAT PSP or shagging up batteries. Can modded by just down loading software to convert mem stick and flashing psp.

You need to use a Magic Stick and FAT battery converted to pandora in order to mod your PSP slim, otherwise it will not work,, you can use the easy installer, but still you will need a moded battery!

I have modded another slim battery by removing the correct pin now can mod my slim psp if so what size mem stick can I use currently have 256mb?

yes that will work. Since you said that you already have a modded battery then all you have to do now is make the magic stick. heres the easy installer. It will mod you memorystick for you: http://dl.qj.net/TOTALNewbi-easyInstalle...14749/catid/193

it would be close on a 256mb. The range recommended is a 512mb - 1GB.

ok now getting somewhere roughly what size is it the file after all installed have got the original battery out of the box un-used can I put this back in istead of my smashed crap one and play happly ever after?
