Hi guys, this is my second post here. Once my PSP is at CFW 3.71 M33-4, Will it be able to play ISO's files or do I need to install the 1.5 addon first?

You could already play ISO filesby puting them to the ISO folder found at the root of your MS>....

The 1.50 kernel Add-on is only for homebrew and emulators...I think....

Good for you cause you don't have to upgrade/downgrade yourself....
But....
Do you already know what CFW it is???
If it is 3.71 M33 it probably have the 1.50 kernel installed already...

you don't need kernel until you want to play homebrew. just put all iso files in ISO folder at your MS root, and it should play when you open game menu in PSP. make sure you change UMD to "no UMD" in configuration in the recovery mode. find it here:

Is putting a UMD in the PSP better than setting to "No UMD"? I dont see the big deal for leaving a UMD in the Psp when trying to run iso games from the MS. Or is there a problem? I ask these questions because I have no clue. My modded psp should be here in a couple of days, and I'm trying to do some homework before I get it. I know it's weird that I have the ISO's before I got my Psp,

Actually NoUMD will help you when you play...so you wont wait for the UMD to load...and bringing a lot of UMD could be tiresome... but having a UMD is not a problem at all...actually it's much better it suppoerts all games.....
