I just bought my Wii this weekend. I have been reading the posts and
have just ordered the LG-8161B and DL'd all the sofware utilities required.
The information here is vague concerning the mod chips and their installation. Yes I am a newb. It looks like I will need the D2CKey instead of the WiiKey mod chip due to my box being of the latest revision. I am assuming it is the latest. Is this correct and how can I tell? Also where should I get the chip I need?
Any help would be appreciated.

I got my chip from them. Very nice place. Smooth transaction, fast delivery (not like days, but ~1 week. What do you expect? it has to go through Canada's mailing system and the US's)

as far as installation goes, yes get a pro. The wiikey cut D2B was hard enough on mine, and that was only 3 wires to the chip! I can hardly imagine over 20.
