Can someone confirm that the 1.9b update for wiikey is just the audio fix for import games and GC games. If I don't want to play imports, or a backup of SMG do I need to update the Wiikey to 1.9b? What will happen if I play an original copy of SMG but don't do any updates to the wiikey? Will I still be able to play backups, or will SMG update my wii and disable the ability to play backups?

Yep that's what the update does is fix the audiofix for the GC. But I think it also adds support for DVD9? Not sure.
