Did you read the guide?
It says after creating the Magic Memory Stick with the Easy Installer you need to buy a Datel Tool Battery or Hardmod the battery (If the battery is compatible) to a Pandora Battery.
The Magic Memory Stick only has the files to install the firmware to the PSP SLIM. You need a service type battery to actually use the Magic Memory Stick so it can install the custom firmware.
If you know someone that has a PSP with custom firmware on it ask them to help you convert a battery to a Pandora battery (This will eliminate buying a Datel Tool battery or Hardmodding 1). But if you do not have access to a custom firmware PSP then you will need to do 1 of the above.

You need a Pandora Battery + Magic Memory Stick for 3.73 offical firmware as well.
In order to play ISO/CSO games off of you memory stick you need custom firmware. In order to get custom firmware onto your PSP SLIM you need a Pandora Battery + Magic Memory Stick.
So follow the guide above to create the Magic Memory Stick and either...
1) find someone that has custom firmware on their PSP to convert a Battery to a Pandora Battery.
2) Hardmod the Battery to a Pandora Battery
3) Buy a Datel Tool Battery

1, The Pandora+MMS will allow you to switch to CFW and so Play ISO's.
2, I think that the Datel battery can be used with the Slim
3, You live there so...............

Put the Magic memory Stick in first.
Then put in the Pandora Battery.
If you still get nothing try re-creating the Magic memory Stick again.
You might need to try a different Memory Stick.
If your using VISTA on the OS of the PC you might need to try finding someone running XP and use that when creating the Magic memory Stick. VISTA can have issues when creating the Magic Stick.

Try this, i got it from http://forums.maxconsole.net/showthread.php?t=78542
(1-2) INSTALLATION PART 2:
(1-2-A) Make sure the "slim" PSP is off. Put the SLIMinized Magic Memory Stick and Pandora's Battery in it.
I was having a hard time slamming the "fat" battery into the "slim" PSP, but you just have to push it hard until you hear a click.
It should turn on by itself, though you won't see anything on the screen.
(1-2-B) You have several options here, if you just want to modify the firmware to M33, press X.
This shouldn't take more than a couple seconds, and then it will turn off automaticly.
Other options are "Square" and "L + R + triangle", the use of these options are out of the scope of this guide, refer to the Readme of the M33 package for more info.
(1-2-C) Remove the Magic Memory Stick and insert the normal "slim" battery.

How do you expect the guy to run "Slim 3.60 M33 Installer" when he doesn't have a 1.50 or custom firmware PSP?
I know your trying to help but read the full thread before trying to offer help that will only confuse the guy and will not work in his situation.

I did help you.
The guide I linked you to will work perfectly fine for you.
I also said try re-creating it again.
Try using a different Memory Stick.
Make sure your using XP on the PC your running the easy installer on.
Make sure your placing the memory Stick in first then the Pandora battery (with AC Adapter unpluged.
There isn't much more help i can offer.
