Hey guys,

Any of you with this key (or anybody in the know) be able to recommend the best dvd's to use to burn backups with this chip?

Either Verbatim DVD+/-R 8X or Taiyo Yuden DVD+/-R 8X

Burn with ImgBurn at 4X speed.

thanks for the reply.

Do they specifically have to be the 8x ones, will the 16x ones be no good even if burnt at 4x?
As for some reason here in the UK the 8x ones are ridiculously more expensive than the 16x

Sony, Fuji, TDK, Ricoh... they all have worked fine for me.

Just avoid the Maxell since it seems that a lot of people have trouble with them
