Alright, after everything that you guys have helped me with, i am yet at another brick in the road. It was my memory stick that wasnt letting me make the magic mem stick. Went and bought a 512 sony stick and it worked. Battery and memory stick both worked and i fired it up and was so happy that it worked. I installed the 3.71 M33 and it went through the process and said installation successful, press X to shut down psp. I pressed X and it shut down, i took the memory stick out and tryed to turn the psp on and i have the same problem. PSP turns on but just has blank black screen. Did i miss something? Do i need to use a normal battery since i hard modded this battery?

FIXED: turned it on while it was plugged in to the ac adapter with no battery in it.

Yes you either need to replace the PIN you cut with solder or buy a new Battery. You can always plug the PSP in via AC Adapter without the battery in and make sure everything is working properly.

You also should keep your question in the thread you already started instead of starting a new thread.
