so I had 3.52 M33 with no updates, and the system played my CSO's of GTA: LCS and VCS fine. Now that I've updated to 3.71 M33-4 it won't play them. This PSP has a bad UMD bay so I can't test my UMDs of anything. recopying as an ISO was a nogo, same for recopying the cso.

Go to recovery mode and change the UMD Drive mode from NONE to SONY Driver... this should help you, as well try to see if the Memory Stick is not a fake and last thing, try to get again the CSO of the games, I had the same problem with a couple of games and after downloading they worked fine.
