well if you cant unbrick it, and you have the bin and key, you can probably just buy a new 360 drive and install it.

try doing a "restore" (instructions in the "tutorial" file that comes with toolbox) with your orig.bin. then reflash as normal. goodluck!

tried, but hitachi is just flashing green led in center of ring, as if it were in mode b but it is not being detected in windows nor in dos and there is no way of flashing hitachi in dos right. Also can you do a hot swap like with the sansungs meaning using a good hitachi to get all the way to the flash then swapping with the brick to get it flashed?

if you tried a restore, and it didn't work, i'd just go to ebay and buy a new drive. i bought one from someone in HK and it only took 1 week to get to me. cheap too. i think it was like $60 USD. then you can flash with your drive key and be all good to go.

I'm pretty sure you can hot swap a good Hitachi with the bricked one.

Try that before u go off and buy a new drive.

Also, I haven't tried it, but I've heard good things: Have you tried the chilifix chip? Not quite sure on the details of the chip, but it supposedly unbricks hitachis, for a slightly lower cost than a new drive.

Knowledge is power, ignorance is weakness.
Flash any hitachi
