How can I unbrick Hitachi 78FK? Have Orig.bin and Key. 360 is just flashing green middle led and not being detected in windows. Power went out while flashing right in the middle, I know buy a UPS, just bought one yesterday. HELP!!!
tried, but hitachi is just flashing green led in center of ring, as if it were in mode b but it is not being detected in windows nor in dos and there is no way of flashing hitachi in dos right. Also can you do a hot swap like with the sansungs meaning using a good hitachi to get all the way to the flash then swapping with the brick to get it flashed?
if you tried a restore, and it didn't work, i'd just go to ebay and buy a new drive. i bought one from someone in HK and it only took 1 week to get to me. cheap too. i think it was like $60 USD. then you can flash with your drive key and be all good to go.

I'm pretty sure you can hot swap a good Hitachi with the bricked one.
Also, I haven't tried it, but I've heard good things: Have you tried the chilifix chip? Not quite sure on the details of the chip, but it supposedly unbricks hitachis, for a slightly lower cost than a new drive.
