uh...its the...star wars one. completely stock. w/o a memory stick as of yey. and yes, by psx i mean the original gray box.
i apologize before hand if this question is redundant, or if im a filthy n00bz0r!!!11!!1 for not knowing, but is it possible to simply put a psx image file onto a memory stick, and just run it. or must i downgrade, upgrade w/raped warranty, etc...

You need a pandora battery and a Macig memory stick and upgrade it to 3.71 m33 then add a popsloader to the seplugins folder on the root of the regular memory stick... then you have to convert The PSX iso file to a eboot file and place it in the game folder..

Just google Pandora battery and popsloader.. you might understand what to do...

I am having trouble getting psx games to work on my slim psp. It is firmware 3.90 m33. The same file works on my old psp without any trouble. On the slim it loads the black and white description screen, but never shows the PSOne logo. The system just shuts itself off. Any suggestions? This is the Metal Gear disc one.
