final fantasy 7 eboot, no gameid?

hey all. I will post no links here. I found a popular ff7 psxpsp torrent released by "HERETiC" which im sure some of you have tried, but all the readme says is put it into psp/game/(any folder you want, and no gameid). doing so gave me error "game could not be started 800000004". I know ff7 DOES work on the psp, is there something you need to change? i thought a gameid was necessary but all the torrents for this file don't have it.

-game kernel set to 3.73, tried 1.50 as well
-tried putting the eboot and keys.bin in psp/game, psp/game373, no results.
-running 3.73hx-1
