so i can burn movies and any thing else as long as its not a dual layer .when i try to burn a dual layer i get somw kind of error power failur.with image burn and xbox backup creator.had drive for a long time first time i had thi problem ..anyone know whats going on?

try uninstalling the drive from your pc, and then reinstalling. then make sure to update to the latest firmware from Pioneer. that should fix that "power failure" problem. not sure of the cause (other than possibly outdated firmware).
