ok guys i know you're all tired of this but i recently got into the xbox360 scene and have been researching on ways to flash the drive to play backups and i've seen that the dvd drive i have on mine is not flashable by easy means (it requires soldering which i'm not messing with) i have a hitachi rom version 79fl i believe which is the latest drive if i'm not mistaken please is there any other easy way to flash this or get a mod chip installed? thanks for the help in advance

not that i'm aware of. you'll need to get the chip installed. sorry, man.

ok thanks any idea which chip works best? i was thinking of using the globe 360 v2 but are there any better? also does anyone got any places that would do it for me? i dont wanna send my 360 any old place
