There was a sticky on this forum yesterday named "Guide Universal Unbricker DC-3 + MS Multi IPL Loader". I was wondering where it went because it was very helpful.

1st PSP: 2.6 > 2.71 > 2.81 > 3.3 > sold (week later 3.5 downgrader came out)

2nd PSP: 2.0 > 1.5 > 3.40 oe-a > semi brick > 3.40 oe-a > semi brick > 3.40 oe-a > semi brick > 3.40 oe-a > semi brick > 3.40 oe-a (was semi bricking evertime i went into the recover menu) > deleted Flash1 > 3.40 oe-a (working perfectly) > 3.71 M33-2 (Via. Pandora's Battery) > 3.71 M33-4 > 3.71 M33-4 (With 1.5 Kernal add-on) > 3.90 M33-3 (With 1.5 Kernal add-on)

it was taken down because there were multiple complaints about it ruining memory sticks... making them unreadable.

So it would be advised not to try it?

I think that it might be safer to try the total newbie guide. here. I don't think that pandora was the problem... just the way that one made the files.

I took it down due to members claiming of unrecoverable memory sticks when using the application.

Here are 2 new guides I recently made.

HERE is 1 if you have 1.50 firmware or a custom firmware FAT/SLIM PSP.

HERE is 1 if you only have a official FAT/SLIM PSP.

Does this one work with vista? (For 1.5/CFW PSP's)

1st PSP: 2.6 > 2.71 > 2.81 > 3.3 > sold (week later 3.5 downgrader came out)

2nd PSP: 2.0 > 1.5 > 3.40 oe-a > semi brick > 3.40 oe-a > semi brick > 3.40 oe-a > semi brick > 3.40 oe-a > semi brick > 3.40 oe-a (was semi bricking evertime i went into the recover menu) > deleted Flash1 > 3.40 oe-a (working perfectly) > 3.71 M33-2 (Via. what do you mean unrecoverable? reformating doesn't fix it?

or something worse?!

i followed the guide word-for-word and interjected my own steps and it seems to work fine.

ie

4) Now go to Game Menu Memory Stick and run Pandora Installer for 3.XX (by HELLCAT).

5) Select "Press R+X To Repartition and Format!"

6) Repeat stage 3 and run Pandora Installer for 3.XX (by HELLCAT) again.

7) At the Installer Menu press "X to install 1.50 firmware, containing Pandora, to the memory stick"...

etc
